Because Brazil is still the guardian of one of the biggest biodiversity regions in the world and can be visited any time of year without of danger of natural catastrophes like earthquakes, tornadoes, volcanoes, etc. Brazil also is one of most tolerant countries regarding to any kind of racial or religious prejudice. There is no danger of terrorism or guerrilla in Brazil.

Is it safe to visit Brazil?

Yes it is. In small towns practically there is no crime and in the large cities like Rio, São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Recife, you should take the same care as you would in any big city of the world.

Which is the best time of year to visit?

Any time is good. The rainy season is Summer, from December to March, with peak rain in January and February. The winter is dry and sunny.

Which is the average temperature?

In the North and Northeast it is warm all year long 20º to 30º C (68º to 96º F). In Southeast the winter is a bit cool and we have some nights at 8 to10 C (45º to 50º F), but the days range from 15º to 26º (59º to 79º). In the deep South we have frosts and even snow in some towns of Santa Catarina State.

I am senior and/or I have some difficulty in walking, is there a trip that I can enjoy?

Yes. As each itinerary is individually planned is perfectly possible to make a very enjoyable trip to easily accessible places and see wonderful landscapes and plant habitats without leaving the car or just walking a short distance.

How much would a trip cost?

The daily cost of a guide service is less than renting a car and driver.

Are the trips of the “all inclusive” type?

Experience has shown that this arrangement works better with groups. For up to three persons, it is cheaper to hire only the guide service. There will be more flexibility in the choice of hotels and restaurants.

What is included in the guiding service?

It includes meeting a client at the airport, complete assistance with the language barrier, driving the car at all times to the previously chosen places. To make the experience for the client the very best possible and according to his wishes. To take the client to the airport and assist him until he has passed through the check-in counter.

What is NOT included in the price?

Fuel, road tolls, ticket to the parks, meal and lodging of the guide, who is willing to share the same hotel room if it will be for the client’s convenience.

Is it possible to collect plants?

All native plants are protected by federal law and their collecting is prohibited. Special permits are given for scientific purposes, usually to Universities or Institutions. To obtain the permit, the University or Institution must submit a scientific project to our Federal Department – CNPQ. The punishment for collecting plants illegally is a big fine and/or prison, depending upon the gravity.

Do I need to pay for the trip in advance?

The answer is no for up to three persons. Payment is made upon the arrival in the airport or at the end of each day.
For larger groups, we will have to contact a Travel Agency and usually a small deposit is needed.

Which are the most popular trips?

Those which involve the Atlantic Forest in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Espirito Santo States. You can see some examples in TRIPS section.

How could I know that this is not a tourist trap?

In the section REF there is a small sample of people from four continents who have become my friends after the trips. I strongly suggest contacting them before deciding to make the trip.

Porque o Brasil ainda é o guardião de uma das maiores biodiversidades do planeta, e pode ser visitado a qualquer época do ano sem o perigo de catástrofes naturais como vulcões, terremotos, tornados.
Alem de tudo, o Brasil é dos paises mais tolerantes do mundo com relação a preconceitos racial ou religioso, a  ultima guerra foi a mais de 100 anos. Não existe no Brasil o perigo de guerrilha ou terrorismo.

É seguro visitar o Brasil?.

Sim, é seguro.
Nas cidades medias e pequenas do interior, praticamente não existem crimes, e nas cidades grandes, como Rio, São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, você apenas precisa ter os mesmos cuidados que em qualquer outra cidade grande do planeta.

Qual é a melhor época do ano para a visita?

O ano todo.A a época chuvosa é o verão, de  Dezembro a Março, com picos em Janeiro e Fevereiro. O inverno é normalmente seco e ensolarado.

Qual é a temperatura media?

No Norte e Nordeste, é calor o ano inteiro (20 a 30º). No Sudeste, o inverno é um pouco mais frio e poderemos ter algumas noites com 8 a 10º, porem os dias variam de 15 a 26º. Mas no sul, temos geadas e até neve em algumas cidades de Santa Catarina.

Eu sou da terceira idade e / ou tenho alguma dificuldade para caminhar, existe alguma viagem indicada para mim?

Como cada roteiro é elaborado individualmente, é perfeitamente possível fazer uma bela viagem em lugares acessíveis, e ver paisagens maravilhosas e habitat de plantas, praticamente sem sair do carro.

Qual é  o custo da viagem?

O  custo diário dos serviços de guia com automóvel é menor do que o aluguel de um carro com motorista.

As viagens são do tipo "Tudo incluso?"

A experiência mostrou que esse tipo de viagens só funciona bem para  grupos . Para viagens de ate 3 pessoas, é mais barato contratar somente os serviços de guia, alem de se ter maior flexibilidade na escolha de hotéis e restaurantes.

O que está incluído nos serviços do guia?

A recepção do cliente no aeroporto, assistência total no tocante a barreira de linguagem, serviços de interprete, dirigir o carro durante toda a viagem.Cuidar para que tudo saia a contento do cliente. Assistência ao cliente até o ele passar pelo check-in do aeroporto no fim da viagem.

O que NÃO está incluído nos serviços?

Combustível, pedágio, ingressos nos parques, alimentação e hospedagem do guia, que poderá dividir o quarto de hotel, se for vontade do cliente. 

Eu poderei coletar alguma planta?

Todo patrimônio genético do Brasil é protegido e a sua coleta é proibida. Licenças para coleta científica são concedidas a Universidades e Instituições. Para obter a autorização de coleta é necessário submeter um projeto de pesquisa ao CNPQ. Quem coleta planta ilegalmente está sujeito a multa e/ou prisão.

Há necessidade de se pagar alguma coisa adiantado?

Para até 3 pessoas não. O pagamento é feito na chegada ou no fim de cada dia. No caso de grupos maiores, quando há envolvimento da Agencia de Viagens e reserva de hotéis, às vezes é necessário um pequeno deposito.

Quais são as viagens mais populares?

São aquelas que envolvem a Mata Atlântica, em São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro e Espírito Santo. - Na Seção TRIPS existem alguns exemplos.
